Episode 55: Super Tech
Monday Jan 31, 2011
Monday Jan 31, 2011
This week we have a full Fringeworthy episode, but we are really talking non-game specific about what super tech is and how it might appear in your games. This is another episode that was found hiding on my hard drive for nearly a year so the sound quality isn't to our current standards. Please forgive. Episode 52: Sources of Inspiration
Monday Jan 10, 2011
Monday Jan 10, 2011
When you look for sources of inspiration for your adventure design where do you turn? Bruce, John, and Peter reveal their cache of thought provoking books, movies, comics, etc so you too can free your mind and make even more awesome adventures than you already do. This is a blast from the past. We did this last March and only now is it getting published. Sorry about the sound quality. We've made significant improvements since then. Bruce got a brand new snowball mike for Christmas so that hum he used to have is gone. Thanks to The Gutter Skypes who are doing a great job on their Fringeworthy actual play. I hope you are listening to them as well. The second is a Bureau 13 Savage Worlds adventure: JR-278 4:30PM The Legend of Hobbs House by John Reiher, Jr, Savage Worlds Bureau 13, 4.5 hrs, 6 players, Game, Some gaming, Characters/Armies provided Hobbs House is a well kept, old Victorian, nestled in what was once the posh section of Seattle in the 1910s, but the neighborhood fell into decline during the Great Depression. Hobbs House was once the home of one Doctor Capability Hobbs. Dr. Hobbs had become both a spiritualist and a scientist. A man who had peered deep into the world of the supernatural. And it peered back. Dr. Hobbs disappeared in 1915 and never returned. The Hobbs Trust kept up his house and maintained the yard… that is until the last recession, and sinking the Trust’s investments into a fund ran by a certain Bernie Madoff. And now the new owner wants to update it, but there are problems. Rumors of ghosts and demons abound in the neighborhood. And that’s where you come. You work for Bureau 13, and the supernatural is your business. And Hobbs House is calling you. I hope to see all of our fans there!

Episode 51: Pets on the Fringepath
Sunday Jan 02, 2011
Sunday Jan 02, 2011
Hey there gamers! This week we delve into all of the subtle nuances of taking your pets on the pathways with you. This is a short and rather light episode but we have been very busy with the holidays and spending time with our families. Also, this was recorded before the changeover so you'll hear Bruce call it the Fringeworthy podcast. Rest assured, we are still the Tri Tac podcast but this is a Fringworthy only episode. Enjoy!
