This week we have a full Fringeworthy episode, but we are really talking non-game specific about what super tech is and how it might appear in your games.

This is another episode that was found hiding on my hard drive for nearly a year so the sound quality isn't to our current standards.  Please forgive.

The Gutter Skypes finish their run of Fringeworthy Actual Play.  Thanks to all the gang, especially Mark Kinney of All Games Considered for being the GM.

They do go over the comments that they have collected during this run so you might find some illumination there.

The actual FW session starts at 01:11:10

This week we talk about what a great show is the Fringeworthy Actual Play done by the Gutter Skypes.  We also talk about upcoming convention demos.  Then on to listener questions.  Trav's co-host on Dementia Radio has a lot of Fringeworthy questions for John and Bruce to tackle.  Sit back and we delve into the hidden reaches of the Fringeworthy:  The first and best transdimensional roleplaying game.

this is the official link to the next episode of the Gutterskypes Fringeworthy actual play sessions.  Those of you who use Itunes have already gotten this as episode 52: sources of inspiration where Itunes is pulling down the wrong file.  A file that until now didn't even exist in our library (cue twilight zone music).  So the universe wants you to listen to this file, loyal fans :)

Wow, Itunes has linked our episode 52 to the gutter skypes Fringeworthy Actual Play episode # 5 somehow so what you get on the Podbean site isn't what you get in Itunes.  So hopefully this one will actually link to the correct episode.

When you look for sources of inspiration for your adventure design where do you turn?  Bruce, John, and Peter reveal their cache of thought provoking books, movies, comics, etc so you too can free your mind and make even more awesome adventures than you already do.

This is a blast from the past.  We did this last March and only now is it getting published.  Sorry about the sound quality.  We've made significant improvements since then.  Bruce got a brand new snowball mike for Christmas so that hum he used to have is gone.

Thanks to The Gutter Skypes who are doing a great job on their Fringeworthy actual play.  I hope you are listening to them as well.

Hi folks! This is to let you know that I'm going to be running two Tri Tac Games at Conquest NW 2011, on January 22. Conquest NW 2011 is being held at the Doubletree Hotel near the SeaTac Airport:

Doubletree Hotel SeaTac Airport 18740 International Blvd. Seattle, WA 98188 Phone: (206) 246-8600

The first game is Fringeworthy using the Savage Worlds rules:

FR-266 9:00AM Victoria - Victorians by John Reiher, Jr, Savage Worlds Fringeworthy, 4.5 hrs, 6 players, Game, Kids, Characters/Armies provided You work for the United Nations InterDimensional Agency. You are part of the InterDimensional Exploration Team. You are on a survey of portals to other worlds and you find that a portal that was supposed to be locked down is open! When you pass through the portal you find a steam powered vehicle inside a cavern! You have to find out what's happening and where the owners of the strange vehicle went to.

The second is a Bureau 13 Savage Worlds adventure:

JR-278 4:30PM  The Legend of Hobbs House by John Reiher, Jr, Savage Worlds Bureau 13, 4.5 hrs, 6 players, Game, Some gaming, Characters/Armies provided Hobbs House is a well kept, old Victorian, nestled in what was once the posh section of Seattle in the 1910s, but the neighborhood fell into decline during the Great Depression. Hobbs House was once the home of one Doctor Capability Hobbs. Dr. Hobbs had become both a spiritualist and a scientist. A man who had peered deep into the world of the supernatural. And it peered back. Dr. Hobbs disappeared in 1915 and never returned. The Hobbs Trust kept up his house and maintained the yard… that is until the last recession, and sinking the Trust’s investments into a fund ran by a certain Bernie Madoff. And now the new owner wants to update it, but there are problems. Rumors of ghosts and demons abound in the neighborhood. And that’s where you come. You work for Bureau 13, and the supernatural is your business. And Hobbs House is calling you.

I hope to see all of our fans there!

Hey there gamers! This week we delve into all of the subtle nuances of taking your pets on the pathways with you. This is a short and rather light episode but we have been very busy with the holidays and spending time with our families. Also, this was recorded before the changeover so you'll hear Bruce call it the Fringeworthy podcast. Rest assured, we are still the Tri Tac podcast but this is a Fringworthy only episode. Enjoy!
